An automated credit card scam has made unauthorized
charges to individual consumer credit cards and attributed the charges to
Tri-County EMS.
The amount of these charges varies, but appear to be small sums that may go
unnoticed by card holders. If your credit card has been charged as part of this
internet fraud scheme, your card has been compromised and should be replaced.
First Data, the credit card processing company that Tri-County EMS uses, and
the Bank of America have been alerted to this problem. The URL for these
fraudulent transactions has been blocked. Updates will be posted as more is
learned.
